Biography
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Behavioral Science Methodology at the University of Granada.
I completed my doctoral thesis, “Myths about cyber-sexual violence: Development of an instrument for its assessment and psychosocial analysis of its impact”, awarded the International Doctorate Mention, under the supervision of Hugo Carretero-Dios and Mónica Romero-Sánchez with a predoctoral FPU contract at the University of Granada.
My career reflects a strong interest in the application of advanced methodologies to the study of gender-based violence and in developing strategies to combat gender inequalities. My main research lines include:

Antecedents and consequences of (cyber)sexual violence against women.

Conceptualization and impact of sexist/feminist humor.

Overlap and differentiation of sexist attitudes and myths about violence against women, and their manifestations across different domains and contexts, both online and offline.
I have carried out international research stays at Goldsmiths, University of London (UK) and Freie Universität Berlin (Germany).
I maintain an active commitment to scientific dissemination and societal impact, participating in national and international conferences, giving talks to general audiences and policymakers, and contributing to press releases and interviews on (cyber)sexual violence and feminist/sexist humor. For four years, I served on the Dissemination Committee of the Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Centre (CIMCYC) and have collaborated with organizations dedicated to women’s health.
In addition, I contribute to training and capacity building in psychological measurement, participating in the organization of international conferences and workshops, such as the International Commission Testing 2024 and the Comparative Survey Design and Implementation (CSDI) Workshop. I have completed different pedagogical trainings in teaching innovation and currently teach in the Department of Behavioral Science Methodology.
