Mariela Bustos-Ortega


I am a student of the Doctoral Program in Psychology at the University of Granada, focused on Research Methodology and Measurement in Psychology and Health. My PhD focuses on sexist attitudes against women gamers in online context, under the direction of Dr. Hugo Carretero Dios and Dra. Mónica Romero Sánchez, in addition to the supervision of Dr. Jesús López Megías. I have a predoctoral research fellowship for University Teacher Training (FPU, Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades, Spain) and I teach in the Degree in Psychology in the Department of Methodology of Behavioral Sciences. I am currently a member of the Infrastructure and Economy Commission of the Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC), in addition to collaborating in other projects of research together with Dr. Jorge Torres Marín and Dr. Ginés Navarro Carrillo, focused on the study of humor, personality variables and trolling behaviors in online environments.
