Francisca Expósito Jiménez

Biography

I am Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Granada. I teach in the Psychology and Criminology Degrees; as well as in the Master’s Degree in Psychology of Social Intervention. Throughout my career my research has focused on the study of social problems (loneliness, discrimination, delinquency, gender violence, …), with a clear gender perspective. My current research is focused on the study of psychosocial processes that influence the full development and well-being of women, at interpersonal, social and occupational levels.
I have done a research stay at Lawrence University London Centre (UK).
I belong to different academic and scientific societies; member of the Spanish Society of Legal and Forensic Psychology; founding member of the Society of Psychology of Social Intervention (SEPIS); and president of the Association VIGIA (Gender Violence, Intervention and Counseling).
